I can't believe that Managem is a good buy at this point, the capital infusement is not a good thing from the perspective of those who recently bought in at the height of 1650 +.
I was asked about how I go about selecting which stocks to purchase. It is a scary process at times, as you make your big money when you purchase.
Before I make a purchase, I have in my mind AND on paper, when I plan to sell and for how much. I also plan contingency plans for if my target price does not hit within my target time period. For example, I thought about buying Doha, mostly for the following reasons:
1/ The main stake holder is well known as one of the richest, if not, THE richest man in Morocco
2/ The stock is at a 4 year low.
This generally, for me is a good enough reason to buy a small stake of 50 to 100 shares. For me to purchase 500 to 1000 Shares, I need to know something in particular about the company that is not completely in the public eye, for example, IF I knew for a fact that Doha's recently completed apartment complexes were already sold, and that a much fewer percentage of apartments are vacant than previously thought, this would lead me to purchase 300 to 600 Shares. If I knew this to be true, and also knew that they recently inked major contracts on which they got Cash advances for Next year, then I would purchase 1000 to 10,000 Shares.
For me to make Doha one of the top 10 in my portfolio, I would also have to believe in the Company Ethos. I take great care before just making a purchase for the sake of making a purchase.
